Chapter 2: Surprise
Couples: Shadow x Maria

After she left Shadow’s room, still wondering and confusing at the same time about her boyfriend’s last night work. She went back to her own room and saw something unexpected. A doll, a cute plush that looked just like a Chao-version of Shadow, with a heart-shaped plush that sewed a name on it, “Maria”.

She grabbed it gently and took a closer look of it, and then she soon realized that this doll had something to do with Shadow’s bandages on his fingers. A letter with a heart stick to stamp it, she unfolded it and recognized Shadow’s handwriting. She read softly.

Dear Maria,
Will you do the honor of being my Valentine’s?
Love, Shadow
P.S: A doll for you, don't laugh

After she read it and glanced at the doll again, she soon realized that Shadow hadn’t forgotten about the Valentine’s Day, in fact, he put all his night to make a doll just to make her happy, and he did it, only earlier. She snuggled it and feel the scent of his hard-working all night just to make her pleased. Then she knew exactly what to do next.

Five hours later, Shadow had finally waked up. He hoped that the doll would please his love, the first thing he did was yawning and stretching his back until his arm felt something, he had touched something. It was soft, small and smooth material. He turned his face at it and it was his turn to be surprised.

"What the?" he said.
