Finally, the new PAGES!!! Hope you like it and I promise to upload the others ASAP! ^^
And also thank you for the comments on my latest pics/comic on Silvaze couple those small projects. Though I must admit, I got a bit rusty on drawing Blaze, it's been a while...Heheh...^^|||
Well, anyway, hope you like these pages and satisfy you for a moment!
I ADORE this Sonic Comic! I think that it is a very original idea not having been done before, love the relationship between the brothers (I have a question about that, if you don't mine answering. Are they triplets or what? I know that Silver is the youngest and I heard a rumor that Sonic and Shadow were twins...but could you please clarify that?), and especially about the initial responses of King Kaze, Queen Sapphire, and Lord Darren's of the situation (of course Darren hasn't told them about the REAL situation, just the semi-missing children one...) and how they were presented into the comic. Lord Darren's reaction and Trails are both very amusing in their own way and I thoroughly enjoy their relationship then upon it self (love the fear respect dynamic).
As for the artwork I must say that it most likely, in all of the comics and artwork that I've seen, the most professional and well laid out that i've seen. I was first attracted to this comic by the colorful and AMAZINGLY detailed and intricate detail of the characters (looking for things with Silver, Shadow, and Sonic in it-HIT THE JACKPOT HERE!). I love how you've designed the rulers of their country. King Kaze especially, he's VERY easy on the eyes with his multi colored hair and heterochromia eyes. Queen Sapphire the former Merhog is also very beautiful (we can see where Silver-kun got his looks! LOL) Also how you transformed Black Doom into a hedgehog is quite impressive in on itself. As for the basic artwork of the pages, I enjoy the different background shadings depending on the scene and mood (like in the last panel where Shadow and Lord Darren are having a face down and you can just FEEL the tension by not only the words but their facades, stances, and the background)
As for the character's personalities, I rather think they are spot on and enjoy how you've developed the other characters beside our heroes personalities so we can already have a good grip upon our initial introduction to them (Like I said before, the obvious Fear-Respect relationship between Lord Darren and Trails) and by further comments, body language, and reactions about or from them. Very adept and skillful in my opinion. This entire comic in of itself is a mighty Triumph in the Sonic World!
PS: It's hilarious how Sonic is upside down in the second of the last panel with a "I have no clue what's going on here, but oh well" expression. Of course, the other two possess a similar look upon their faces but it being it Sonic and that he's upside down...I don't know, but it cracks me up! Sorry for the very long 'Comment'.
i must say one thing first off all - the way you paint the shadows by mixing soft and hard contrast can be described in one word. great!!! by doing that gives more depth and realistic feeling.
the characters face expression and body position are just perfect! you done everything in max there - but i notes something on Shadow and Darren. shadows eye on the last frame at page 12. it looks weird. i've seen several arts were the artist paint like that but i don't like ti. i'll rather paint the opening of the eye on the cheek instead - like when their eyebrow are down. i just thinks it's looks better. and with darren in page 12 on frame 3, i notes his hand was painted the wrong way. when you touched your head comes the pinky naturally in front. no worries i don't know how many times i've done the same thing as you.
over all - the line and coloring are perfect. the pose and expression are just lovely. the background... i miss that. it looks okay with the color you used but i like to see more of were they are.
It has only been one day and it feels like a month waiting for your knew comics and story you should get a close fan or friend to help you or something
yea, sry about that. but i often find hard to put trust on someone else or get the picture right. not to mention, i got a pile of college school works to do, so sry about that. i am drawing as fast as i can.
